Two models of large escort tugs built in the same scale as training models (1:24) are available at the Centre. Tug models are powered by azimuthing propulsion located at the bow and the stern ( ATD and ASD tugs). Models are equipped also with winches with adjustable tow rope length. Length of the tug models is about 40 m. Bollard pull of these tugs can be adjusted.
The tug models we have are built on the same scale as the manned ship models and are equipped with pod propulsion (ASD and ATD tugs). These models have also winches, ensuring the appropriate length and tension of the towline.
