Training Program and Manned Ship Models Description

The training curriculum includes selected port manoeuvres conducted using scale mock ups of harbour basins and terminals of various designs and configurations. These manoeuvres can be carried out independently by the ship and with the assistance of tugs. The course participants can perform:
• Operations in restricted waters (shallow water, channels, locks).
• River manoeuvres with predefined current speed.
• Manoeuvres in areas exposed to strong winds as well as sheltered waters.

Most ship models are equipped with anchors and selected electronic navigation aids, including GPS, ECDIS, AIS, and PPU.
